Senior guard Marlain Veal, who stands a little under six feet, displayed his dunking skills in a video he posted to his Twitter. As of today, the video has reached over 170,000 views. The average NBA player stands at about 6’7″ according to a 2007-08 NBA player survey, but the height difference has not hindered this basketball player.
Veal was the only Lion to start in all 34 games during the 2017-18 season and was the 12th player in university history to make the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division I All-District 23 team.
