Though the thought of a “feud” often conjures bloody images of medieval civilizations plagued with violence, the Family Feud Competition on campus will contribute to fighting poverty rather than people.
The Southeastern chapter of the NAACP will host its Second Annual Family Feud tonight at 7 p.m. with the goal of creating unity between all students on campus, the game show will create student involvement between the different participants.  
Recognized student and Greek organizations registered  teams of five or more students to participate in healthy competition. The Nu Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta are the reigning champions of the first annual competition and will be competing to hold their title as NAACP Family Feud Champions and take home the trophy for another year.
All funds from the game show will contribute to upcoming events and activities hosted by NAACP throughout the semester. Participants should expect questions geared towards college students. Participants can expect questions focused on a variety of topics including Notable Alumni and historical facts about the university.
The cost to participate is $10 per team. The cost of admission is $2, however attendees who donate canned goods upon entrance will receive a discounted price of $2. All canned goods that are collected will be sent to a local food bank for distribution.
