The Campus Activities Board (CAB) hosted Live at the Oak in Friendship Circle from 7-10 p.m. Friday, which offered a “Video Foam Dance Party,” a tailgate raffle, a washer board tournament and free food.
Live at the Oak is a traditional Southeastern event held every Friday night before a home game with the purpose of giving students the opportunity to have fun and get excited for the upcoming game.
“We’re just trying to give the students a good college experience,” said Todd McElroy, coordinator of CAB. “We want to get them [students] out, let them have a good time and give them an opportunity to interact with each fun.”
“Friday night live at the oaks is a fun way for students to enjoy each other’s company at southeastern and have a good time dancing and playing games,” said sophomore Claire Salinas, majoring in communications.
Despite the fact that many students head home for the weekend, it was a well-attended event.
