Collegiate careers for approximately 1,276 graduates will be coming to an end on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. in the University Center.
The commencement ceremony will host Robert Levy, as the guest speaker. Levy is the chairman of the Louisiana Board of Regents and a graduate of Nicholls State University and the LSU School of Law. Levy is serving his fourth six-year term as district attorney for the Third Judicial District, according to the Office of Public Information.
Also in attendance will be Southeastern alumni Golden Grads, who graduated in or before 1961.
“They will wear their gold robes and lead in the graduating class and then be recognized during the ceremony,” said Kathy Pittman, director of the Alumni Association. “We also have an informal brunch for them in the St. Tammany Room of the University Center from 8:30-9:45
