The spirit groups of Southeastern have returned from their trip to the Universal Cheerleader Association (UCA) and Universal Dance Association (UDA) College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship victorious as they both left Orlando with top ten finishes.
Southeastern’s cheerleaders placed 2nd in small co-ed while the Lionettes brought home a 3rd place finish in hip hop and a 6th place finish in jazz. The competition, held over the weekend of Jan. 13-15, pitted both spirit squads against other squads from across the nation.
For Spirit Coordinator Paige Lapeyrouse, the cheerleader’s performance at Nationals marks their best performance yet while the Lionettes results show steady consistency in their program.
