The Southeastern National Pan-Hellenic Council sponsored an AIDS Awareness Step Show, in which several praise teams, fraternities and sororities performed, on Monday, November 14, at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Union Theatre.
The show began with the Beacon Light Baptist Church of Hammond Praise Team firing up the crowd with a few soulful songs. The theatre was crowded and everyone was on their feet for the opening ceremony.
Willie Williams, a Southeastern alumnus, was the host of this event for the third year in a row.
In addition to several fraternities and sororities performing step routines, each also incorporated facts about HIV and AIDS.
