The Mane Dish is hosting “Late Night Breakfast” for students to take a break from studying and enjoy a nice meal during finals week.
“Late Night Breakfast” will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. in the Student Union Mane Dish for all students.
Lead supervisor and one of the lead cooks for the Mane Dish Bill McKinley explained why The Mane Dish holds this traditional event each semester for the students.
“Our understanding is the students are all up late studying for exams,” said McKinley. “So, in the middle of that strenuous stressful week of studying and all the pressure of getting a good grade on a test, we thought it’s a good opportunity for the students to step away from all that, come up here and one get something to eat while they’re up late studying but also to maybe to break the monotony a little bit and offer a bit of fun.”
The event will have a buffet-style spread of food for students to choose from.
“We offer sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and the grits, pancakes or French toast, it’s pretty complete,” said McKinley.
