The 2011 Ring Ceremony will be held Wednesday Nov. 30 in the Student Union Theater at 7 p.m. During the ceremony, graduating seniors will receive their official Southeastern Ring.
“The whole purpose of the ring is to have something that will go down through the generations,” said Kathy Pittman, director of the Alumni Association. “The special part about having an official ring with a single design is that a father or grandfather will have the same ring as their student.”
The rings are provided by Balfour, a company that specializes in class rings, year books and graduation gear. Students can view Southeastern’s ring design by using the Balfour website’s “find your ring” button on their class rings page.
