To showcase their updated menu, Classic Fare Catering will be holding a catering expo on Thursday, Nov. 4. The event will be held in Twelve Oaks and will take place from 3:30-7 p.m. There is no admission fee, and everyone in the Southeastern and Hammond community is invited to attend.
Classic Fare Catering, which is managed by ARAMARK, is holding the event in order to showcase their re-designed catering program.
According to ARAMARK Food Services Director Martin Balisteri, there will be several changes to the catering program.
“Classic Fare Catering by ARAMARK will be showcasing our newly re-designed catering program,” said Balisteri. “We’ve changed the menu, changed the look, added a customer loyalty program, and we are fully implementing our convenient online ordering system called CATERTRAX.”
The updated Web site, found at www.selu.catertrax.com, looks to be more beneficial for customers. Visitors to the site can choose from 11 occasions to be catered. Once an occasion is clicked, an individual can see the various options that can be picked from, in addition to the cost per person. When an option is clicked on, it allows an individual to order.
In addition to the Web site, the menu has been updated as well. There are three new tier menu options: “Roomie’s Express,” “Green Package” and “Gold Package.” “Roomie’s Express” is a package for customers who choose to pick up their order and selections can only be made from the “Roomie’s Express” menu. The “Green Package” is for customers who choose to have their meal delivered and will include set up, clean up and disposable place settings.
“Gold Package” is for customers who choose to have a professional wait staff service the event as well as china, stemware and linen for serving tables. There will also be an “Executive Menu” with a gourmet twist for those who want something more.
The expo is an event that Balisteri hopes the whole community will attend.
“This event is a great way for our customers and future customers to see what we have to offer,” stated Balisteri. “We will be doing live demonstrations of CATERTRAX so everyone is comfortable with placing their order in the future, and we would like to elaborate on our new customer loyalty program. Classic Fare Catering can provide an experience like none other for weddings, banquets and special events.”
