The Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia will host an evening of music, dance and glamour for the 2102 Mystic Cat Ball.
The party will take place on Thursday, March 22 at 8 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom and will offer live music and refreshments to guests.
“This is a dance that we do every year,” said Steven Ban, a business Management senior and Phi Mu Alpha ‘Sinfonian.’ “We play different types of music during the dance. We’ll have a live Jazz band first and then a DJ. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and our theme this year is Puttin’ on the Ritz, so guests must wear formal attire.”
Tickets are available in advance for singles for $15 and couples for $25. Tickets will also be available at the door, but they will be $5 extra. For more information on tickets the Ball and Phi mu Alpha sinfonia contact Ban at [email protected].
According to their national website, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia was founded in 1898 as a fraternity dedicated to the advancement of musical culture in America and encouraging brotherhood of music students.
