Dr. Chelsea Slack is a communication instructor at Southeastern Louisiana University and has served as the faculty adviser to The Lion's Roar since the spring of 2021, primarily overseeing editorial content. She holds a Ph.D. in Rhetorics, Communication and Information Design from Clemson University. She is also a graduate of the University of Memphis and Southern Arkansas University. Dr. Slack lives in New Orleans with her husband and enjoys all things Mardi Gras in her spare time. She is also a freelance writer, editor, and social media content creator.
