Dr. Chelsea Slack is an assistant professor of communication and media studies and has served as the faculty adviser to The Lion’s Roar since Spring 2021, primarily overseeing editorial content. She holds a Ph.D. in Rhetorics, Communication and Information Design from Clemson University. She is also a graduate of the University of Memphis and Southern Arkansas University. Dr. Slack lives in New Orleans with her husband and enjoys all things Mardi Gras in her spare time. She is also a freelance writer, editor and social media content creator.
