Deputies seeking two of five burglars

HAMMOND – The Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects allegedly involved with burglarizing with three other suspects.
Deputies first responded to a burglary on Rogers Road in Hammond, La. According to the sheriff’s office, the property owner detained three of the five burglars, who were allegedly in possession of the owner’s property.
After taking Mark Eric Thomas Jr., Amanda Leigh Gerkin and Kenneth Wayne Galladora Jr. into custody, the property owner told deputies that the other two suspects had fled on foot.
Once detectives from the burglary unit arrived, they identified one of the burglars as Brandon Burrescia.
Eventually, detectives identified the fifth suspect as Cordera Marshall. Marshall and Burrescia were both injured during the burglary.
Thomas was charged with one felony count for possession of stolen property. Gerkin and Galladora were charged with one felony count for possession of stolen property and each one count for an outstanding warrant.
Detectives are requesting that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Burrescia and Marshall contact the Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office.
