The Student Government Association put together a tabling event to help quiz students on the university history and what SGA offers. By participating, students could win a coupon for an on-campus dining facility.

The Student Government Association held “Golden Day” to inform students about the university history and what SGA offers.

SGA set up a table in the War Memorial Student Union on Wednesday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students could stop by to answer questions and test their knowledge about the university and SGA. To encourage students to participate in the event, SGA partnered with Dining Services to offer a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich, an icee from the market, or a taco from Taco Bell.

“A lot of people do not know what SGA is and what we stand for,” expressed Jasmine Washington, a junior health systems management major. “A lot of people do not know about the grants and free stuff that we offer to students.”
