Ring Ceremony to be held Wednesday

The spring 2012 Ring Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 7 p.m. The event will be held in the Student Union Theater and is hosted by The Alumni Association. Students that have ordered their rings at the beginning of the semester in the Bookstore or at Grad Fair will be receiving their rings at the ceremony.  According to The Alumni Association 108 students are already slated to receive their rings.

According to Kathy Pittman the director of the Alumni Center there is still time for students to participate in the ceremony. Students can come even at the last minute without an RSVP.  For those students who will not be able to attend the ceremony, rings will be available for pickup on Tuesday, May 1 in the Bookstore.

“It is the official ring so that whenever you see this ring in years to come you will know that you have something in common with that person,” said Pittman.

For more information about Southeastern graduation rings or the ring ceremony contact the Alumni Center at 985-549-2150.
