Contributed by Lion Pride Career Closet:
Southeastern’s College of Business has revitalized the Lion Pride Career Closet, a donation-based resource that provides students with free professional clothing. Beginning this semester, students can book appointments to receive assistance selecting attire for interviews, presentations and other professional needs.
The newly revamped closet, stocked through generous community donations, offers men’s and women’s professional clothing, including pants, shirts, blazers, suits and accessories. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. in Room 100 of Garrett Hall to celebrate the opening.
Designed to support career readiness, the Lion Pride Career Closet helps students dress for success and focus on making a strong first impression as they prepare for their future careers.
Students can make an appointment on the Southeastern website under the Career Closet page.
Campus and community members can donate professional clothing at any time by dropping off items at Garrett Hall in the College of Business Dean’s office (Room 64).
Students can contact the Department Head of Marketing and Supply Chain Management, April Kemp, for more information.
