Campus Dining is hosting their traditional "Late Night Breakfast" to thank students for dining with them.
The Late Night Breakfast will be held in the Mane Dish on May 13 from 9:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
The Mane Dish will be serving traditional breakfast foods including pancakes, sausage, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, waffles, eggs, grits and biscuits.
Students who have a meal plan must swipe their card to participate, and students without a meal plan must pay $6.95 plus tax. Buddy passes will not be accepted for this event.
The Late Night Breakfast is a way for Campus Dining to help students alleviate some stress at the end of the semester.
Christopher Simoneaux, marketing intern for dining services said, "It's a traditional event. Students know when it's coming so they plan around it in their studies, and it's a stress relief. Students can relieve stress, have a good time, have some food and then once you're done get back to studying. This will be the first Late Night Breakfast [the Mane Dish], so that's exciting."
Students also have the option of taking care of some of next semester's responsibilities with Campus Dining during the Late Night Breakfast.
"You can sign up for a meal plan if you would like, for next semester for fall. So even before you leave to go home for summer you can already have your fall meal plan picked out so you can not worry about that and be done with it at Late Night Breakfast if you would like," said Simoneaux.
The Late Night Breakfast is a traditional Southeastern event that has been said to help students recharge during the late studying hours of finals week.
According to Simoneaux, "It's just a relaxed, fun event keeping the tradition alive of Late Night Breakfast and also to thank the students for dining with us this whole semester."
