The Campus Activities Board postponed the game of laser tag that was originally planned to take place at Lee Field on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“We basically pushed it back two weeks because of mechanical issues,” said coordinator of CAB Todd McElroy. “The company we are dealing with ran into some mechanical issues with the truck that brings it around, so because of that they couldn’t make the date here.”
The laser tag event is now scheduled to take place Wednesday, Nov. 6.
“The company helped us out financially for the problems we had and gave us a discount on it for our inconvenience,” said McElroy.
Participating students are eligible to win various prizes.
“When it comes in on the sixth we are trying to do part of it as a tournament. Safari Quest has donated $100 worth of prizes for the tournament,” said McElroy. “So if you are interested contact Campus Activity Board, and we will sign your team up.”
The laser tag event will have free-play, but it will also include a tournament. The tournament will consist of six team members battling another team. Students who are interested in participating may contact CAB in Mims Hall Rm. 202.
