Brynn Lundy Arriago began working for The Lion's Roar in the fall of 2019, her first semester at Southeastern, and now serves as Graduate Assistant. From Lutcher, she graduated with a degree in communication in May of 2022 and is pursuing a graduate degree in strategic communication.

Miss SLU 2020 Janine Hatcher has been preparing for Miss Louisiana since November 2019 after she was crowned the title. As Miss Louisiana Organization postponed its 2020 competition to 2021, Hatcher plans to participate in the competition next year even if she crowns a new Miss SLU this fall.

There are multiple speed bumps around campus to increase driving safety. Stop signs and crosswalks, such as those on Texas Ave., are in place to increase both driver and pedestrian awareness. All drivers, including students, faculty and visitors, should be conscious of pedestrians, as there are many walking on and around campus daily.
