Candidate packets for the Spring 2026 SGA elections are now available. The deadline to complete packets is noon on Friday, March 13.
SGA holds elections every spring for president, vice president, chief justice and senators. Candidate packets for each position outline the responsibilities of that position, ask for candidate information such as their W numbers and a headshot and a timeline of important dates related to the election.
Students interested in running for one of the positions must attend one of the candidate interest meetings, which are taking place Monday, March 9, through Thursday, March 12, at 5 p.m. in Student Union room 230.
Candidates who qualify for the elections will be notified by SGA after noon on Friday, March 13.
Candidates will be tabling in the Student Union Breezeway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 16, through Thursday, March 19. SGA will then host a meet and greet with candidates at 5 p.m. that Thursday.
Online voting will open at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 23 and close at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. Election results will be announced at 5 p.m. on that Wednesday.
