Sprinter on the track and field team Devin Dixon started running track at nine years old. Dixon’s father was his first track and field coach when he was a kid. The track and field team’s next meet will be on Jan. 10 in the Purple Tiger Invitational hosted by Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
