Cha’Laieja Francis is a sophomore political science major and criminal justice minor from Hammond. Cha’Laieja joined The Lion’s Roar in Fall 2025 and hopes to expand her love for writing into her career. Being a history and literature lover has helped shape her passion for journalism. After graduating, she plans to attend Southern University Law Center and become an international human rights lawyer. Additionally, she aspires to work in diplomacy and become a political activist.
