Electric car charging stations are located in two places on North Campus. One station is by Oak Village, and the other is inside the Sustainability Center. The center is waiting for more information before planting new stations on campus.

The university has recently decided to further their green efforts. A committee, originally formed as an anti-litter initiative, is now looking to expand their plans by installing 220 geothermal wells. 90 of these wells are located on the north side of Ascension Hall, and the remaining 130 are to be installed where Zachary Taylor Hall once stood.
