PortableLion: Campus services on the go

The full version of the PortableLion app launched in August following the beta launch in January. The app includes features that students can use to track the shuttle buses, keep track of campus news and stay up-to-date with emergency alerts. They can also access resources such as Moodle and LEONet.

Domodar Dahal, a senior computer science major, stands with his application, PortableLion, that he created for the university. “When somebody else gets some kind of help through something I’ve made, that gets me the best kind of excitement, the happiness and satisfaction,” said Dahal.
