Miranda Matise: Fighting through the silence

Miranda Matise, a sophomore communication sciences and disorders major, started a club on campus last year for students to learn American Sign Language together called Sounds of Silence. Matise has been losing her hearing since she was 13 years old and is passionate about educating people on the Deaf Community.
