Bomani Brown, member of the Kappa Nu chapter Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and Larry Banks, Vice President of the Kappa Nu chapter, lead the procession, carrying pictures of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial March & Program” took place on Monday, Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. The march started at the Pennington Student Activity Center and was followed by a presentation at the Student Union Theater. The guest speaker was Tyronne Walker, who serves as President of the Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
